Chicken lovers, mark your calendars! On Monday, Aug. 20, your favorite fast food chain McDonald’s is going to officially release its new creation called Sweet N’ Spicy Honey BBQ Glazed Tenders. This new chicken item will be available at all McDonald’s chains throughout the US – but for a limited time. So, you better hurry up to grab the new delicious chicken on your nearby chain.

According to a recent press release, these sweet n’ spicy glazed tenders are made from all white meat, in the same way as Buttermilk Crispy Chicken Tenders are prepared. The difference is that each honey BBQ glaze tender is hand-tossed in a special glaze that’s made out of brown sugar, garlic powder, chili pepper, and paprika.

According to McDonald’s Vice President of Menu and Brand Strategy, Linda VanGosen, “We share our customers’ love of chicken. A better McDonald’s means more chicken options and delicious new tastes. We are building on the success of our Buttermilk Crispy Tenders by offering a new craveable sweet and spicy taste we know our guests will love.”

Keeping the trends and customers’ preferences in mind, they have now created this new chicken delight with some extra spicy and delicious twist. We don’t know how these chicken tenders taste yet. But if these are compared to the classic Buttermilk Crispy Tenders, we’re sure these will be equally good too.

The Sweet N’ Spicy Honey BBQ Glazed Tenders will be available in three different serving types that include 4-piece, 6-piece, and 10-piece per plate. Furthermore, customers can also select for home delivery options via McDelivery on Uber Eats to enjoy them at their home while watching their favorite Netflix series or celebrating with their family or friends.
