Hello, barbecue lovers! BBQ season is just around the corner and to add some spice to summer this year, Carl’s Jr. has come up with an amazing twist on its waffle fries. Dubbed Western Bacon Crisscuts, these waffle fries are inspired by their Western Bacon Cheeseburger and created especially for meat lovers.
The new dish has been prepared with crunchy Crisscut seasoned potatoes, which are further topped with applewood-smoked bacon, shredded cheese, and their signature barbecue sauce. For their customers, they have even kept a calorie count. One order contains around 1170 calories, which are quite high, but who cares when you get to have your favorite meat dipped in delicious BBQ sauce. Right?
For those who are already jumping on their couches to grab a bite, just hold on your horses. Sadly, the new fries are not available throughout the nation. For now, you can spot this dish in places like California, Utah, and Oregon. Don’t be disheartened. Until it’s available in your location, you can try on their new Western Bacon Cheeseburger, which is found in most Carl’s Jr.’s locations.
After few weeks, Western Bacon Crisscuts will be available on all Carl’s Jr. Locations as the ingredients of this dish are quite similar to Western Bacon Cheeseburger. So, we’re assuming all locations will have it on their menu very soon.
Until then, we can just look for the reviews of the people who have already tried this new recipe. If you’ve already or are going to try this one soon, do share your experience with us. This will also let others, who are waiting to taste the fries, know what to expect from these fries with BBQ twist.
